Senior Procurement Specialist- Makadi Heights

The Procurement Specialist role is to ensure that the supply chain needs of a company are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Procurement specialists review costs, develop relationships with vendors and suppliers, and offer suggestions for where and how much material and supplies to buy. 

1. Operation 

• Identify suppliers of goods and services  

• Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc. to achieve the best possible saving to the company. 

• Monitor and continuously update the master plan to obtain the best possible prices relevant to the company’s needs 

• Request quotations, compare prices, and evaluate offers from technical and financial stand point with suppliers and contractors 

• Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods 

• Responsible for supplier communication to resolve transactional issues. 

• Communicate with the purchasing department to issue the purchase orders agreed on with the suppliers. 

• Work with team members, supervisors, and project managers to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors. 

• Organize and update database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and quantity of supplies. 

•  Record savings, follow-up on prequalification documents to make sure our department's savings and documents are available at all times 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field. 

•  Minimum 1-3 years of Experience. 

• Excellent Communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills 

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PPT). 

• Languages: Arabic & English fluently spoken and written.
