JobsMena (jobs-mena.com) is operated by MAK Talent Solutions. For any privacy question or request, email info@jobs-mena.com.
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
Job seeker profile: what you choose to add, such as your CV, work history, education, skills, languages, phone number, nationality, current country, visa status, notice period and salary expectations.
Activity: jobs you save, applications and the answers you give, messages with employers, and job alerts.
Employers: company details, the people using the account, job posts, and billing records.
Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, used to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
How we use it
To run the service: show you jobs, recommend jobs that match your profile, send your applications to employers, and deliver messages.
To send emails you asked for or that are needed for your account: job alerts, application updates, messages, password resets and invoices. You can stop job alerts at any time with the unsubscribe link.
To keep JobsMena safe: detecting spam, fake jobs and misuse.
Who can see your data
Employers you apply to see your application, your profile and the CV you send.
If “Let employers find me” is on in your profile, employers with a CV search plan can find your profile. Your full name and contact details stay hidden until an employer unlocks your profile. You can turn this off at any time.
Service providers who help us run JobsMena process data on our behalf: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), file storage (Vercel Blob), email delivery (Resend), website analytics (Google Analytics, only with your consent), and, only when you use “Fill my profile from my CV”, AI document reading (Anthropic).
We may disclose data when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
Jobs from other websites
Many listings come from other sites. When you click “Apply on …”, you leave JobsMena and that site's own privacy policy applies.
Where your data is stored
Our providers may store and process data outside your country. We choose providers that protect data with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. You can delete your job seeker account yourself from your profile page; this removes your profile, CV, applications, messages and alerts. Employers can ask us to close their account by email.
Security logs are kept for up to 90 days. Invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to some uses, or withdraw consent. Email info@jobs-mena.com and we will respond within 30 days.
You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your language. They are always on.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, searches, sign-ups) so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner; if you decline, Google Analytics runs without cookies and without identifying you. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
Age
JobsMena is for people who are at least 18 years old, or the legal working age where they live if that is higher.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page, and tell account holders by email about important changes.
