Sales Engineer

Job Summary

A leading company in the steel and metal fabrication industry is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join its team. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting the company's metal fabrication products and solutions, including steel columns, trusses, bridges, tanks, containers, and other structural steel products. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background, good knowledge of the steel industry, and the ability to identify customer needs and convert opportunities into successful deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the steel and metal fabrication market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, construction companies, engineering firms, and industrial clients.
• Promote and sell steel products, including columns, trusses, bridges, tanks, containers, and fabricated metal structures.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical and production teams to provide suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on offers, and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
• Conduct client visits, meetings, and follow-ups to develop business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and pipeline updates.
• Follow up on orders and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales, preferably in the steel, metal fabrication, construction, or industrial sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the steel, metal fabrication, construction, or industrial sectors.
• Good understanding of steel products and metal fabrication solutions.
• Experience dealing with contractors, construction companies, engineering offices, or industrial clients is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and present suitable products and solutions.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple sales opportunities.
