Activations Manager - Events

About the Role

We are recruiting an Activations Manager to join a dedicated full-time delivery team for a major international multi-sport event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role sits within our client’s event delivery function and runs from October to December 2026.

You will lead the planning and delivery of fan, sponsor and brand activations across the event, including:

• Activation plans, layouts, content and operating schedules
• Coordination of builders, suppliers, sponsors and rights holders
• On-site installation, daily operation and dismantle
  

You will work closely with the wider project team and report through the relevant manager, balancing creative delivery with tight build schedules, budgets and quality standards across a fast-paced, multi-venue environment.

This is a senior, hands-on role. You will own the activation programme from plan to dismantle and be visible on site throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Activation Planning

• Develop the activation plan, including layouts, content and the operating schedule.
• Align activation concepts with sponsor, rights holder and event requirements.

Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate builders, suppliers, sponsors and rights holders throughout build and live operation.
• Act as the main point of contact for activation-related queries across the project team.

Programme Control

• Manage activation budgets, timelines and quality on site.
• Oversee installation, daily operation and dismantle of all activation areas.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Activations Manager or in a similar role
• Experience delivering fan zones or activations at major sports events.
• International experience delivering sports events; multi-sport or major single-sport events count towards this requirement.
• Strong supplier, budget and stakeholder management skills.
• Availability for the full engagement period.
